These raw vegan brownies are by far my favorite raw vegan dessert. I like them better that all the cakes, the energy bars, candies and chocolate and all the other raw desserts.
These brownies are like a new love affair, they come all chocolaty and crunchy to seduce you without giving you a chance and leaving you wanting for more. If you are a chocolate lover (as you probably are), these brownies are for you. And the best thing about them is that they are so easy to make! No, actually the best thing is that they are packed with amazing super foods that provide you with vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber and high quality vegetable protein.
As I have mentioned before, they are super easy to make, they are filled only with amazing super foods and they provide you with tons of energy so don’t forget to grab one piece before your workout.
Ingredients:
For the base:
- 1 cup of walnuts
- 1 cup of almonds
- 2 cups of soaked dates (pitted, of course)
- 1/2 cup of cacao powder
- 1 Tbsp of cacao nibs
- ¼ tsp of sea salt
For the topping:
- 100gr dark chocolate
- 50ml coconut milk
- Walnuts and almonds to decorate
How to:
Place all the ingredients for the base in the S shape blade food processor and pulse until everything is well combined and you get a sticky composition. Add the brownie mixture in a tray covered in parchment paper and place in the fridge while you prepare the chocolate for the topping. For the topping melt the chocolate, add the coconut milk and stir until well combined. Pour the chocolate over the brownie mixture, add also the chopped almonds and walnuts and place in the fridge for at least one hour. Your raw vegan brownies are ready. I highly recommend you to double the quantities if you are sharing the brownies. They are highly addictive.
Enjoy!

Hi, Mandy! Sorry for the late reply. I’m using the thicker one that you buy in a can.
